Interview with Pepe at the Qwillery

Pepe is delighted that he was finally interviewed by the Qwillery,

and asked for his opinion about the books in which he appears, but he’s a little miffed that he was featured under the Paranormal heading with a ghost, a black cat and a ghost hunter.

Of course, in his next adventure, The Big Chihuahua, coming out in October 2013, he gets involved with a cult that worships an ancient dog spirit named Dogawanda, and that’s certainly paranormal. Or is it?

My mom LOVES the Pepe books… She told me today she wants to get The Chihuahua in Every Stocking book.. I told her that it is not a paperback.. She is 88 years old and thrives on reading but will read books on an electronic device.. Will this book ever be published as a paperback?

I’m so glad you asked this question because the good news is that our publisher, Kensington, included the Christmas story (A Chihuahua in Every Stocking) as a bonus in the back of our fifth book, which just came out: The Silence of the Chihuahuas. It’s also available in an audio version if you think your mom would enjoy that.

        Waverly,
Thank you so much for replying to my question so quickly. I had already bought The Silence of the Chihuahuas for my mom last year and she read it. I just told her about the bonus book in the back, and she is VERY THRILLED!! She saw that after she read The Silence of the Chihuahuas, but she just thought it was a sampling… She didn’t realize that it is a short story with 7 chapters. I cannot tell you enough how happy my mom is with Pepe.. She even bought a little stuffed dog in which she named Pepe… When does your next book in this series come out?
        Thank you so much!!

I meant to say “will not read books on an electronic device”
